Vodafone Sure Signal
With Vodafone Sure Signal you can boost indoor mobile phone signal for up to eight mobiles at once. The simple solution for providing home-workers with up to 5 bars and a 3G Vodafone mobile signal.
What’s needed?
You just need a landline broadband connection with a minimum line speed of 1Mbps, and a 3G phone on the Vodafone network.
How far can Sure Signal reach?
Sure Signal provides up to 5 bars and 3G coverage for up to a 30 metre radial distance from the Sure Signal box (depending on the building structure and where the box is placed).
You can now get Sure Signal as a plug, so it takes up less space in your house or office. You can hide it away and with a clever by-pass function, you won't lose a plug socket either.
How does it work?
The Sure Signal box simply connects to a landline broadband connection via an ethernet cable. Then up to thirty two 3G Vodafone phones can be registered to the box and up to four phones can work simultaneously using the signal.
Could an unregistered user use my signal?
Each Sure Signal box has an Access Control List so only registered users can connect.
Will it affect my bills?
It won’t affect your bill – all normal Vodafone charges apply, based on the user’s price plan, and bundle allocations such as top ups and packs will work as normal. By using the Sure Signal box additional data will be transmitted over the DSL line and may increase broadband usage, which may have an affect on any usage limits.
